While watching the bio-flick on the life of Steve Jobs starring Ashton Kutcher, there was one quote from this tech mobile’s life I haven’t been able to get out of my mind.
At one point Jobs was arguing with another engineer about a small part for one of the first macs. The engineer had a different vision for the part when Jobs yelled…
“We’ve got to make the small things unforgettable.”
Jobs was a visionary.
To him everything mattered.
To him there were no small things.
As followers of Christ there are no small things. Everything matters.
What I love about Jesus is He made the small things unforgettable.
He walked slowly through the crowd.
He loved on little kids when the disciples tried to push them away.
He loved those who no one loved.
To Steve Jobs EVERYTHING mattered.
To Jesus EVERYONE mattered.
So today as we thrive to live for Christ, nothing is small or unimportant when it comes to introducing people to Jesus.
Open the door for someone.
Ask someone how their week is going.
Invite someone to lunch or church.
Look up throughout the day instead of down on our phones.
Any step, though it may appear small, could have eternal affects.
There are no small things. Because everything we do matters. Because every one we interact with matters to God.
Any action we take today, we can make unforgettable…
