Hello Monday // Hello Momentum

Everybody talks about it.
Everybody wants it.
Every one who does something worth doing has it at one point or another, but can lose it as quickly as they gained it.

What am I talking about? Momentum.

Our dreams.
Our goals.
The will only come true if we create some form of momentum in our lives.

It could mean just getting out of bed.
Making one phone call.
Reading one book.
Praying one prayer.
Having one conversation with your spouse. With your boss. With yourself.

To be motivated is to be inspired.
What motivates you?
What inspires you?

What is stopping us? We all have what Jeff Goin’s calls, “the voice” trying to get us to believe we can’t do whatever it is we are trying to do. “The voice“ tries to make us believe we can’t achieve what we dream of achieving, that momentum is not ours for the taking.

How will you conqueror it? I defeat “the voice” by doing my best to get out of bed early every morning. I try to be apart of “The 5 O’clock Club” as much as possible because it’s in those early morning hours I create personal momentum.

I live by the following quote:
“Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.” – Benjamin Franklin

On this Monday be on search for momentum.
For your life. For your family. For your future.
Then make a small decision today to begin achieving your dream today. Take hold of your momentum.

It could be as simple as getting out of bed early.

Whatever it is, momentum is just around the corner…

Making a difference always comes down to momentum.- Jeff Goins
