No Slack Friday // SCARY stats for any business

No matter what our job is, how we all survive (get paid) is based upon how we treat our customers. We are all in the people business. So what happens when we really focus on our ability to meet the needs of our customers?

We are hit in the face with statistics like this in the following infograph:

  • 80% of businesses believe they deliver “superior” customer service.
  • Only 8% of customers believe that they have experienced SUPERIOR service from those same businesses.

Before you believe the lie that perhaps your business is in the 8% percentile just know…you’re most likely not.

The only way to make our business or organization stronger is to work like we are not in the 8%.

What can you do for your company to make sure you are making your customers legitimately happy? Then do it!

Know if you give a customer an enjoyable experience they will tell on average 15 people and if it’s not enjoyable, 24 people will know about.

Be nice to the customers you have…you’ll win the customers you want.

It’s Friday, but no slacking here…let’s crush it.
