What’s up with Hell? | Part 3

Question Covered:
If  Heaven is a place of happiness and someone who means everything to us goes to Hell, how can heaven be a place of complete happiness?

When discussing Hell, one of the first emotions we experience is what about our loved ones? What about our friends and families? Could they not know about Jesus? What if they choose a different path other than Christ?

This is why Jesus discussed Hell so much because He wanted everyone to know about His love and how everyone can experience Heaven on Earth as well as in the afterlife.

One way The Bible shares about Heaven is there will be no mourning or pain.

Revelation 21: 4 NLT
He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”

So in some way when we experience Heaven we will no longer see our life as we do now. Our bodies will be transformed to be like Christ when we enter Heaven.

Therefore, our emotional expressions will now be filtered through our perfect bodies.

Philippians 3:21 NLT
He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.

So in no way will be become cold hearted and not care about our loved ones, but the mere fact we will be in God’s presence will heal any struggle or pain we experienced while living here on Earth.  Who knows if we will continue to carry all the visions and memories of Earth the way we do now or how they will affect us in Heaven. In the same way Jesus has come to grips with this very question we will as well. His understanding of this issue will be ours.

What affect it will have on us, who knows. But our focus for eternity will be based upon not us, but Jesus.

The way we view this question here on Earth will not be how we will view this in eternity. It  won’ be because we have been brian washed with God’s love, but perfected by it.

But our focus shouldn’t be spent trying to figure this out, but spending more time sharing Jesus so they won’t ever have the chance of experiencing Hell. Our focus should not be on how we can enjoy Heaven without all of our loved ones there, but rather on how we can point our loved ones to faith in Christ so that they will be there. (1)

We get the amazing privilege of showing people Heaven on Earth by sharing our love for Jesus with them. The very reason why our loved ones may not experience Heaven, could be because we aren’t brave enough to share God’s love with them. In the end have no regrets, get rid of the “What if’s?” Share Jesus and let’s bring not only our loved ones, but anyone and everyone with us to see Jesus face to face.

His Mission can be ours…

Psalm 119:46-68 The Message
Then I’ll tell the world what I find,
speak out boldly in public, unembarrassed.
I cherish your commandments—oh, how I love them!—
relishing every fragment of your counsel.
Romans 1:16 NLT
For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.
